The album soundtrack received widespread critical acclaim by music critics and debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart. As of January 30, 2014, the soundtrack had sold 769,000 copies in the US and has topped the Billboard album chart for three weeks. The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, and peaked at No. 1 on the chart, becoming the fourth soundtrack album from an animated film to reach that milestone.
