Introduces the basics of playing claves (rhythm sticks), bongo drums and the triangle in various combinations from solo up to a quartet. Whole, half, quarter and eighth notes with the equivalent rests are learned through a repertoire of popular children's songs. The book concludes with a lesson introducing the drumkit.
