Bizet Entr'acte from the 3rd act of Carmen and Minuet from L'Arlesienne, suite 2 arranged for flute with piano or harp. The two pieces by Bizet were originally orchestral compositions with a predominating solo flute part and an important harp accompaniment. This edition enables flautists to play both attractive pieces accompanied by harp or piano instead of an orchestra. In view of the original scoring, a harp accompaniment would seem to provide a closer approximation of the intended sound.
