This book is intended for the violin class but is suitable also for individual students. The melodies are really exercises with titles, which have been edited in order that pupils may improve their musicianship by observing Tempi, Exppression Marks and Phrasing. This book does not deal with the changing of position of the left hand. The only movement is the initial one from 1st to 3rd position. The tunes are written one string at a time by means of Tetrachords.
