James MacMillan's Strathclyde MotetsThe choral music of James MacMillan's has become regularly featured on choral programmes by a broad range of performing groups.
Recent works, appearing in print for the first time, include a set of seven Strathclyde Motets available as individual choral ottavos. These communion motets set propers of the Mass and are suitable for adventurous choirs.
Also just released are MacMillan's Tenebrae Responsories, which are eight-part settings of three of the Good Friday responsories, providing a major addition to the repertoire of chamber choirs that enjoy exploring contemporary choral music.
