New Choral Music from Oxford University Press
Sacred and secular choral pieces by contemporary composers such as Bob Chilcott, Gabriel Jackson, and the late Sir David Willcocks.

New choral settings by Bob Chilcott include The White Field, a setting of Charles Bennett on the idea of renewal and hope in the depth of winter, awaiting the return of the sun. This appears alongside a new SSATB version of The Abolition of Slavery from Chilcott's Five Days that Changed the World, another Bennett setting which reflects on one of the most significant events of our time. These secular works are complimented by Chilcott's second setting of the Evening Canticles, commissioned by the 2015 Three Choirs Festival.

Five Shakespeare Songs brings together the work of the late Sir David Willcocks ('England's choir master') and the Bard, in a suite of well-loved upper-voice pieces with favourite texts, optional readings, and music of unsurpassed charm. The effect is a concert piece worthy of the world's stage.

This selection of new choral pieces is completed by two challenging choral works by Gabriel Jackson, as well as sacred settings by Alan Bullard, Michael Berkeley, and Howard Helvey.
