New titles from Henle
This selection of reliable editions of classical works include Elgar's Salut d'amour, the popular and romantic piece written for his future wife. Henle's edition for cello and piano follows Elgar’s autograph manuscript, which for unknown reasons had never been released.
Chamber works feature strongly with Max Reger's Clarinet Quintet op. 146, a work which became the composer's final opus. This appears alongside Schumann's classic String Quartets Op. 41 and the reduction for piano trio of Brahms's Double Concerto.
