• Christ Is The Morning Star
This glorious setting of paraphrased words by the Venerable Bede (a quotation from one of Bede's prayers which hangs on the east wall above his tomb in Durham Cathedral) was written for a wedding in 1995. Simple choral writing underpinned by a luminous organ part combine to create an anthem of beauty and radiance.
• None Other Lamb
A short, unaccompanied setting of words by Christina Rossetti. Simple though this piece is, it is hugely effective, uniquely atmospheric and would grace the repertoire of any choir. Scored for SATB a cappella.
• The Rose
The central movement and spiritual heart of a longer work entitled 'A Pageant for Christémas', written in 1998 for choir and piano. Setting beautiful words by W R Rodgers, this piece finds the composer in his most expressive vein
