Composes acoustic and electro-acoustic music, combining resonant soundscapes with propelling textures * Has collaborated with cutting-edge choreographers, film-makers, visual artists and musicians * Commissioned and performed throughout the US and around the world * GRAMMY Nomination for "Best Contemporary Classical Composition" in 2015 for Prince of Clouds * Recent honors include commissions from Carnegie Hall, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Houston Ballet; awards from ASCAP, the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and SEAMUS; performances by the American Composers Orchestra, London Sinfonietta, Minnesota Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra; and residency with Chicago Symphony Orchestra as Mead Composer in Residence.

Night Ferry (2012) for orchestra
Prince of Clouds (2012) for two violins and string orchestra
Within Her Arms (2008–09) for string ensemble
Secret Garden (2013) for drum set and tape

Looking Ahead: The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra opens its 2015–16 subscription series with Anna Clyne’s Masquerade in September. Also in September, her new violin concerto, The Seamstress, receives its US East Coast premiere by the Princeton Symphony Orchestra, featuring soloist Jennifer Koh.
