Karl Jenkins: This Land of Ours vocal score

(July 2009)

News_9790060120091.jpg  A collection for TTBB and piano/organ, comprising well-loved movements from the composer’s own works, plus arrangements by him of favourite hymns and folksongs, all inspired by the land of Wales.

Karl Jenkins draws on a wide range of musical training and experience. After a classical training at Cardiff University, Wales, and the Royal Academy of Music, London, he worked as a jazz musician with Nucleus and Ronnie Scott, among others. His Adiemus projects have enjoyed global success with 15 gold and platinum awards, and The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace has been performed by choirs around the world. Jenkins has received commissions from HRH The Prince of Wales, the London Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Ballet Covent Garden, Bryn Terfel, Evelyn Glennie and many others. The success and popularity of Jenkins' music in live performance, recordings and broadcast has led to international accolades and a series of prestigious awards.

This Land of Ours is a tie-in publication with a best-selling EMI Classics recording from the composer of Adiemus and The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace.
