Laster, James - O Nata Lux

O NATA LUX is an unaccompanied piece for mixed voices suitable for concert or liturgical use incorporating a Latin text. It was written to be the companion piece to the Byrd, Ave Verum, although it was never programmed in that way. The harmonic style is reminiscent of the motets of Poulenc although it was not intended to imitate any of those works.
