Press Reviews

"MacMillan has distilled numerous influences, from Gregorian Chant and Palestrina to Gaelic heterophony, filtered through his own, inimitable style and blended with knowledge of and respect for the performers, listeners and venue. There is exquisitely-worked counterpoint and mysterious dissonances, perfectly judged for the ambience of Durham Cathedral." Organists' Review
