Commissioned by the Cathedral Organists’ Association [UK] in celebration of its centenary, and first performed at the Association’s annual meeting in York Minster in May 2019. Text: Magnificat and Nunc dimittis (English) from the Book of Common Prayer (1662), the standard for Church of England choral evensong. A concise and accessible setting for general use which will be seized upon by church and school choirs of intermediate standard.
