Bossa Nova began in Brazil in 1958. For playing in this style, (named for the Portuguese for "new trend") the classical guitar quickly became the crucial instrument. This jubilee collection spotlights world-famous bossa arrangements and exciting new compositions that will appeal to every guitarist.

Featured guitarist/composers are Aderbal Duarte (Brazil), Philippe Loli (Monaco) and Andreas Knoblich (Germany).
