Fiddle Time Starters is an ideal first book for beginners. In the book there are lots of short easy tunes to get children playing straight away, an easy-to-read simplified notation to help note-reading, a careful progression of material, from pieces using open strings through each string in turn, using the 0-1-23 finger pattern.
