Text
Personent hodie voces puerulae, laudantes jucunde qui nobis est natus, sumo Deo datus, et de virgineo ventre procreatus.

Omnes clericuli, pariter pueri, cantent ut angeli: advenisti mundo, laudes tibi fundo. Ideo gloria in excelsis Deo.

Carol Canning
Carol Canning studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. During her last term, she successfully auditioned for the Swingle Singers, becoming their second alto. The years spent working with Ward Swingle encouraged her to take her first steps in vocal arranging. She went on to write many of the group’s arrangements and finally became their musical director. She now works as a freelance musician and teacher and has been involved in a wide variety of projects which include singing on an award-winning recording of Berio’s Sinfonia through to vocal backing on the soundtrack for a Star Wars movie. She pursues her love of close harmony singing and arranging as a member of the a cappella group ‘Five Live’. She has also arranged for the King’s Singers and composed music for BBC Television.
