This suite in three movements for saxophone ensemble is based on two traditional klezmer themes, Itamar Freilch and Hershel and on an original composition, Doumka´s Freilach.The suite can be played with a drumset (playing ad libitum) and a bass: string bass, electric bass or euphonium. If there’s no drummer, one of the saxophonists can play the tambourine part in Itamar Freilach.
