Book 3 starts the journey to Grade 1 and formal notation. The colourful staves and coloured notation gradually give way to an increase of pieces in standard form and includes some grade one pieces from previous syllabus years so the teacher and student can truly gauge their progress in preparation for their own first graded exam.

Book 3 still features imaginative original pieces like; Goodbye Snowman; The Golden Eagle and the delightful Rainy Day Blues; but also many classical former exam pieces by Mozart, Greig, Beethoven and more.
