Stephen Hatfield: Camino Caminante SSA & piano

Inspired by the swirling mix of peoples and cultures in Miami, this piece suggests the wheels of a big city, always moving, always changing. Simple melodic themes are passed from group to group and layered with percussion instruments and keyboard (marimba style). Creates an exhuberant mood flavoured with various Afro-Cuban and Latino grooves. For treble voices in three parts (SSA) and piano.
