For thirty years Gunner Møller Pedersen (b. 1946) has worked determinedly and uncom-promised to realize a vision of spatial music. This vision prompted him to work with electronics at a time when they were neither fashionable nor easy to work with, and he became one of Denmark's few pioneers in this field. A Sound Year must be regarded not only as Gunner Møller Pedersen's masterpiece, but also as a cornerstone of Danish electroacustic music.
