Pratley: Great Orchestral Solos Violin

The arranger Geoffrey Pratley felt the need for books of orchestral solos containing piano reductions of the accompaniment in stead of giving the solo line alone. This volume contains a varied selection of the many great violin solos which orchestral leaders are called upon to play: some are well known; others less so. It is hoped that these arrangements will provide useful new material for soloists in concerts as well as auditions. Composers featured are - Brahms Schumann Haydn and others.
