This setting of the well-known test from the Song of Solomon was commissioned by the Lyons Township High School Treble Choir or La Grange, Illinois. Under its co-directors Connie Lyda and Michael Wolniakowski, this very fine ensemble is continuing a long tradition of commissioning works form prominent American composers.
