Rose, David - Music Links Lower Key Stage 2 (Book & CD)  

This is a fabulous new resource for anyone who teaches music. It is specifically aimed at the busy classroom teacher and is accessible to non-specialists.

Music Links comprises six music projects linked to at least one other subject that will enhance and widen the learning intentions. Each project starts out with an overview stating which musical skills are covered and then builds towards a finished performance. Skills covered include singing, listening, classroom instruments, rehearsing and composing.

Music Links is fully compatible with the Primary Framework for Literacy and Maths, National Curriculum programmes of study for music and QCA units for lower Key Stage 2. The free CD provides additional music support and the resources section has photocopiable sheets.
