This is Scarlatti’s second Giuditta, of which neither the origin, nor the first performance is known. Written for three voices, strings and basso continuo it is known as the ‘Cambridge’ Giuditta as its manuscript is housed by the Rowe Music Library of King’s College, Cambridge.
