Over the course of his prolific career as a composer, Peter Schickele has created and performed a number of piano rags, a form that he has always enjoyed. In A Garland of Rags, he has assembled a first printing of five rags written for various occasions, and now made available for pianists of intermediate to advanced skills. The score includes his notes, describing the genesis of each piece.
