With instrumentation similar to that of a jazz ensemble, this smart and dexterous arrangement fuses traits from both the jazz and pop idiom.  The work was used as the title music for the PBS television documentary Continental Harmonym, a project that brings composers and communities together to create new music that reflects their history, culture and hopes for the future.
