"The Concertino by Tartini, in my opinion, is a great piece for a beginning clarinetist ready to move up a notch to practice on.

The piece has fast to slow, forte to piano--it teaches the student the wide variety of expressions clarinet is able to make.

Likewise, an accomplished player can play this piece and maybe even show off his/her ability of expressing various contrasting ideas on the clarinet."
