New music for clarinets
A new arrangement of Moussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition for clarinet ensemble alongside a clarinet medley from Verdi's Luisa Miller.

Moussorgsky's suite Pictures at an Exhibition is an established showcase for advanced pianists. The grand opening 'Promenade' and closing 'The Great Gate of Kiev' are joined by more playful episodes, together depicting an imaginary tour of artwork by the composer's friend Viktor Hartmann. Maurice Ravel's edition for orchestra is the most famous arrangement of the suite. Here, Giuliano Forghieri brings the work alive exclusively through single reeds in this new arrangement for clarinet choir.

Forghieri continues to transfer classic works to the hands of clarinettists with the new medley from Verdi's Luisa Miller, based on a play by Schiller. This arrangement for clarinet and piano is a musical tour of Verdi's great opera.
