Project Youth Chorus
Programme Note
Holiday Song was commissioned by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Inc. to be sung by Project Youth Chorus at Lincoln Center’s annual tree lighting celebration. The first performance was conducted by Music Director Judith Clurman on December 4, 1997. Guest artists with Project Youth Chorus included Jim Henson’s Muppets Elmo and Rosita, and featured Lynn Bernhardt, percussion and Allison Sniffen, piano. The chorus included students from The Brooklyn Children’s Ensemble; Columbia Grammar School; The Mustard Seed School; The Outreach Youth Chorus; and The Spence School.
