New choral sampler explores riches of B&H catalogue

Boosey & Hawkes has released a new CD sampler exploring the full range of its choral catalogue.
With over 65 minutes of music, the disc ranges from masterpieces of the symphonic choral repertoire such as Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms, Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Britten’s War Requiem, through classic chamber choir works by Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, Górecki, Finzi and Copland, to exciting new repertoire by Jenkins and MacMillan. A selection of music for young choirs includes Doreen Rao’s Choral Music Experience series and popular song arrangements for use in schools.

A version for North American and Australasian choral directors will be released this autumn.
