In 2012, when tragedy struck at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, Jim was approached to address the loss of those whose lives were taken too soon. The hope that families and loved ones of those who were lost could find some comfort in their memories, and the idea that their children, their angels, would always be with them, inspired this beautiful music and these powerful lyrics.
