"A 1st prize competition winner, this work is probably the most performed a cappella piece in Portugal for the last 10 years. It's one of the most beautiful Portuguese folk melodies and it is masterly crafted by Carrapatoso. Gorgeous mixolydian flavour, nice shift of range between male and female parts including beautiful short solos that can be performed by a good amateur choir. My first performance of this work was an unforgettable discovering experience for me and my singers. I highly recommend it!!!! Thumbs up!!!"
