As the title implies, this work features two intriguing melodies, written in contrasting styles. The 'A' section features a lilting melody in 3/4 time while an energetic 'B' section melody is effectively accented by percussion and timpani. Best of all, every section of the band has an opportunity to demonstrate their newly-learned talents. (Grade 1)
