These new releases from Verlag Dohr feature several contemporary pieces by Brian Wright with an array of influences:
- Metamorphosis on a Galliard of John Dowland is based on the Dowland lute piece 'Melancholy Galliard'
- Nuages was inspired by the music of the gipsy guitarist Django Reinhardt
- Sonata No. 2, third movement is a homage to the American jazz pianist Bill Evans
- Sonatina alla Spagnuola is reminiscent of 'Homenaje de Claude Debussy' by Manuel de Falla.
