Sunday 11 July saw the biggest choral event of the year, with 2,500 voices of The Really Big Chorus joining together to sing in the world premiere of Karl Jenkins’ Gloria at the Royal Albert Hall, London.

The Boosey & Hawkes vocal score, and an EMI CD featuring the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the composer, are released today (Monday 12 July).

The CD, which also features the composer's Te Deum, is this week's Classic FM CD of the week.
