Looking Ahead: 50th birthday celebrations in 2010; featured at Cabrillo Festival (6-7 Aug); world premiere of Hammered Out at BBC Proms conducted by David Robertson (26 Aug) and US premiere by Los Angeles Philharmonic and Susanna Mälkki (13 Nov); US premiere of Texan Tenebrae by Chicago Symphony and Andrew Davis (18 Nov); new opera for the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Anna Nicole, to be premiered in Feb 2011.
