In this Schubert recording and particularly in the ‘Wanderer’ Fantasy and the B flat major Sonata D960, Lazaridis gives the performance of his life. These two works have formed a regular part of his repertoire since his early teens.

Greek-born 35-year old Lazaridis began as a child prodigy receiving many important awards and scholarships including “Jeunes Solistes d’Europe, RCM Chappell Gold Medal and winner of Rising Stars Competition, Symphony Hall, Birmingham. He has performed worldwide, including US, Europe, Russia, Egypt and the Middle East. He has performed in many prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Concertgebouw, St. Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, Musikverein with many leading orchestras, such as the St Petersburg, Hamburg, Strasbourg and Royal Philharmonic Orchestras, Warsaw & Munich Symphony Orchestras under Sir Neville Marriner, Ingo Metzmacher, Yuri Temirkanov, Maxim Schostakovic and many others.
