The 2022 international Ernst von Siemens Music Prize will be awarded to the Austrian composer Olga Neuwirth. The award for a life in the service of music is endowed with €250,000. The award ceremony will take place on 2nd June 2022 in the Prinzregententheater in Munich.

In honour of the Stravinsky 50th anniversary of death on 6 April Boosey & Hawkes publishes his Two Sketches for a Sonata. The manuscript of these short piano fragments, composed towards the end of Stravinsky’s life, is housed in the Paul Sacher Foundation’s archive in Basel.
