Dejan Lazic has arranged Franz Schubert’s penultimate completed composition—the song “Der Hirt auf dem Felsen” (D 965) for voice, clarinet, and piano, based on two poems by Wilhelm Müller and Karl August Varnhagen von Ense—for solo piano, and released it on CD as part of his 2024 album “Wiener Rhapsodie” on the Onyx label.
