Hommage aux belles viennoises op. 67

Edison Denisov taught orchestration and composition at the Moscow Conservatory for nearly 40 years (1959–1996). His arrangement for chamber orchestra of Franz Schubert’s 16 Wiener Damen-Ländler and two Écossaises, D 734, Op. 67, consists of a series of 16 rather short pieces (mostly two-part with repetitions) that are to be played attacca.
