Kammermusik Nr .5: '... ex machina'

‘Chamber Music No. 5 was created in 2021 on a commission from the ‘Neue Pegnitzschäfer’ (New Pegnitz Shepherds). The approximately 20-minute spatial composition is characterized by expansive scales that create a unique dramaturgy through varying dynamics and tempos. The organ, as a quasi-extraterrestrial instrument, creates the background structure against which the piano, as a percussive instrument, and the horn, as the human instrument, move.’
