‘The diverse and mostly highly complex threats to which humanity is exposed today and of which it only seems to be slowly realising are naturally not without resonance in artistic creation.
Perhaps more clearly than ever before in the post-war period, it is not only the way in which art is made that is being called into question, but man-made art itself. Right at the beginning of the AI age, the political upheavals of these days clearly show us where humanity will lead without humanity.
So the five-minute album sheet for Horn is just a short interjection that picks up on a quote that has stuck with me since a speech by sports commentator Marcel Reif in the German Bundestag in spring 2024. Be a human being!’ (Johannes X. Schachtner)
