Synopsis

Participative musical theater about the Tower of Babel and the Babylonian confusion of languages – humorous, poetic, thought-provoking

The King loves the night sky with its mysterious constellations, which seem to him like secret messages. His most fervent wish is to touch the sky, but to do so the King is much too small. Then he comes up with a crazy idea: he will build a tower that reaches up to the sky. A splendid project! But is this understood by the animals that live on the great Euphrates river, where the construction site takes shape? Their nesting places are lost and the reedy banks dry out.

And the King did not reckon with yet another “neighbor”: One day, God notices that a man-made tower is poking him in the buttocks! He becomes so angry like only gods and children can become, and plants poisonous language salad in the paradisical garden through which the Euphrates flows...
