The Symphony No. 7 ‘Sinfonia del tempo che passa’ op. 97 from 2003 also bears a subtitle comparable to the Symphony No. 8 ‘Sinfonia da requiem’ op. 111 for choir and orchestra based on poems by Adam Zagajewski, in which the composer attempts to transfer the form of the requiem to symphonic form. The work was composed in 2009.
