Jean-Christophe Keck is a singer, conductor, musicologist, composer, festival director and CD producer * specialist for the works of Jacques Offenbach and editor of the authoritative Offenbach Edition Keck OEK which since 1999 continuously publishes stage works, orchestral work, chamber music and vocal music * close cooperation with Orchestre Pasdeloup, Paris * appearances as a conductor at the summer festival at Bruniquel, France, founded by himself * recordings with DG, EMI, Universal/Accord and Sony * own compositions in the spirit of Offenbach, e.g. in his opéra-bouffe Monsieur de Chimpanzé (2005) based on a libretto by Jules Verne
