This composition was written as a compulsory piece for the 2025 International Tadeusz Wronski Solo Violin Competition in Warsaw. The competition is currently the only one for solo violin and is considered one of the most difficult of its kind, featuring highly virtuosic works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Béla Bartók, Eugène Ysaÿe and Henryk Wieniawski. Polish composer Krzysztof Meyer contributes a new virtuoso piece for the seventh edition with his commissioned work Con effetto.
