Seven intermediate pieces. Now beginner cellists can perform the music of this popular Scottish composer.

Press Reviews

"The first four pieces are in first position with plenty of scope for alternative fingering and the last three pieces move into various positions (the highest note is harmonic A).  Some of the pieces are quite challenging rhythmically with changes from 4/4 into 7/8.  All lie under the hand and work very well musically.  They are quite simple but extremely well phrased and flow very naturally.  There is much to learn from them musically and technically and I strongly recommend them."
