This album is divided into three sections, each aiming at a specific range of ability. 1) Below 'the break', avoiding awkward fingerings, but with increasing rhythmic difficulties. 2) Upper and lower registers but not too much difficult break-crossing and keeping fairly rhythmically simple. 3) More advanced music (grade 5+) designed to help players improve in such areas as technical facility and smoothness across the break, tone production and expression, syncopation and fast fingering.
