Nanotechnology hidden everywhere to control us, acid trips that generate morally engaging situations, aliens landing with the positive intention to solve problems on our earth. All this is told in three songs, surrounded by flavours that remind of jazz, South America, funk, kept together by the sound of fender rhodes, alone or together with acoustic piano. Arrivano gli alieni is Stefano Bollani’s third solo disc, after Smat Smat (2003) and Piano solo (2007).

For the first time Bollani is testing himself as author of both texts and music. Apart from some covers of famous evergreen - Aquarela do Brasil, Quando, quando, quando, Juram - Bollani is singing six new tracks. In three of them he is appearing for the first time as a singer and songwriter. In songs like Microchip, Un viaggio and the short track Arrivano gli alieni he shows all his genius with irreverent texts and virtuoso performances that represent the absolute novelty of this project.
