A Summer Garland portrays the varying moods of summer, from buzzing flies to calm evenings, from May-blossom to fancy dress parades. First performed in June 2002, it is now in the repertoire of a number of choirs. The five movements may also be performed separately - 1: May, queen of Blossom; 2: The Rose in June; 3: Busy Fly; 4: July Evening; 5: Summer Queen.
